MILITARY RECOGNITION BOOK

As the “Keepers of Remembrance”, Ontario Command of the Royal Canadian Legion is proud to publish an annual Military Service Recognition Book to identify and recognize our Veterans in Ontario, who have either served or are still serving in our Canadian Armed Forces, the Commonwealth or Allied Forces.

We invite you to visit our Legion (5645 Wyandotte St., East) to obtain more information regarding this Remembrance program and more importantly, to submit a story and photo of a Veteran or call

Jim Dunn at 519-945-0671.

Everyone is welcome to submit a story, including Veterans, relatives or friends. Drop off or send your histories and stories to your local Legion Branch early. We accept them year-round.

The 9th edition submissions are now being collected, and will be going to press in May of 2022.

The 9th edition is scheduled for release in September 2022. The 9th edition has many submissions of local Windsor Essex County area Veterans or veterans with links to local residents.

Windsor and the surrounding area have a long tradition of military service, and Branch 255 Legion would like to see our men and women included in this historic book. You can find a submission form on-line at http://www.on.legion.ca/remembrance/military-service-recognition-book
